Introduction

MDx COVID-19 Ag Home Test is an in vitro diagnostic medical device used to aid in the diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 infection by qualifying SARS-CoV-2 antigen (nucleocapsid protein) with immunochromatographic assay (ICA) from the self-collected nasal swab by the individuals suspected of respiratory infection.

TEST PROCEDURE

Insert the Swab 1.5~2cm into the nostril and rotate 10 times or more to coat the Swab with nasal secretions. Repeat with the same swab in the other nostril to sufficiently coat the swab.

Put the Swab in the Sample Dilution Buffer and mix 10 times or more. Remove the swab while pressing the tube and squeezing out the secretions absorbed by the head of the Swab.

Take out the Dropper Cap and press it firmly onto the buffer tube.

Put 3 drops of the extracted specimen into the sample hole (S) of COVID-19 Ag Rapid Device.
05

Wait for 15-20 minutes and read the result.
