Introduction

VDx® PPRV MP qRT-PCR detects and differentiates Peste des petits ruminants virus (PPRV) using real-time RT-PCR. This multiplex assay identifies PPRV and PPRV IV subtype with high specificity via TaqMan based real-time PCR assay.

• Can detect and differentiates PPRV and PPRV IV subtype
• It includes an Endogenous IPC based on the housekeeping gene shared by Ruminants(Sheep, Goat, Bovine etc) to verify nucleic acid extraction quality and an Exogenous IPC to check for PCR inhibition.
